Summit Christian Academy has been such a blessing for our family. From the first day I walked in the doors, I knew this was the school we would be attending. Having three kids at Summit, we have been through the preschool, elementary and now have one in middle school. Not only are the students provided an outstanding education but are nurtured spiritually as well. The entire school from staff to students provides a family atmosphere where each individual is shown love and respect. Summit Christian Academy is the best kept secret in Lexington....but would love for others to know and get to experience all that Summit has to offer.

Our children have been at Summit since our oldest child went to Kindergarten. We are thankful for the quality academic education they have received. The smaller classrooms have helped our children excel because they get consistent one on one academic time with their teachers. The teachers are able to add in additional material to the curriculum, enriching the overall quality of classroom time and resulting in high scores on national standardized tests.

The spiritual aspect of their time at SCA has been wonderful. Our teachers care about the students' spiritual needs. There have been several times where we had a concern about one of our kids. It has been great to discuss this with their teachers and get support, prayer, and encouragement. I appreciate knowing that our teachers are constantly looking for ways to build character and help our children grow spiritually. It has been nice watching our children mature in their faith as a result of the influence of passionate teachers. Our family loves SCA!

Our family had been homeschooling for 11 years, but I was sensing a need to look for another method of educating our four children. Since Lexington First Assembly has been my church home since childhood, I looked into the possibility of enrolling. It has been the best decision for us! The small classrooms made the switch from homeschooling seamless. Our two oldest were in high school and felt accepted and loved in a way I could not have imagined. Each child is being encouraged to be who they are and excel in their gifting.
God is at work on campus every day. The front desk is praying over sick/injured students, chapel has always been a place of spiritual growth, and I hear the young ones being trained by their teachers to obey God with their choices as they head to class.
Summit has been a blessing to our family. I pray God will continue to bless all we do as we follow His leading.

My son Jett knows only Summit. He has attended since Pre-K and now he’s finishing 8th grade. Many good teachers come to mind, Mrs Baker was his foundation, Mrs. Riley for her heart and patience, Mrs. White this year for her support and many others that make Summit. This coming year, Jett will be a freshman at Summit, and will finish at Summit. Our family loves this blessed school.
We love this school and the staff is like our family. Small enough for one on one instruction but big enough to do most things other schools can do. Our children also receive a top notch education. Most of all, I love the fact that my child can go to school every day and have bible study, chapel on Wednesdays, and can talk about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ any time she wants to.
