Principal's Message

Dear Families, Parents, and Friends,

I am very excited to welcome everyone as we begin the 2023-2024 school year.

I am believing that this year is going to be a great one, because I know without

a doubt that God loves this school and has plans for it and all the families

connected to it. Just seeing what He has done over the past few months to help

us to prepare for the beginning of a new school year, amazes me.

This year Karen Holtzclaw has agreed to return as a part-time administrator.

We are so very grateful that she can come out of retirement for this one year.

For those of you that do not know Karen she has been a part of Summit

Christian Academy for over 20 years, working in the roles of teacher, guidance,

and administrator. Her experience and commitment to SCA is invaluable,

please join me in welcoming her back.

New at Summit Christian Academy:

Security cameras have been installed throughout the campus and our new School Security Officer is Zupanki Joos. He will work Monday through Friday during school hours.

GoGuardian software will be added to middle school and high school chromebooks to provide better supervision of student internet usage.

The theme at SCA for this year is Unity, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! Psalms 133:1.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12-14

Please review our website to learn about our teachers and their passion for Christian education. I have always said that Summit Christian Academy is the best kept secret in Lexington and the teachers here are a huge part of this. I am looking very forward to working with all of the students and families and continuing the legacy that many have already experienced.

Blessing In Christ,

Mrs. Gibbons
