Student Life
Classroom learning is our priority. It is where our students gain academically. We have added a Student Life program that also gives our students opportunities to round out their growth and development by giving them chances to explore their talents and gifts outside the typical classroom.

Student Life
Summit Christian Academy does not limit the learning environment to the classroom. Please see the Curriculum Map for each grade that includes many of the field trips taken to enhance the education.
Clubs and Ministry Purpose
After school activities provide opportunities for character building outside the traditional classroom setting. Biblical perspectives and appropriate responses may be taught to students through the challenges, encounters, and situations found in various settings. Extra-curricular activities teach diligence, dependability, patience, and other Christ-like qualities.

Duke Tip
Summit Christian Academy participates annually in the Duke Talent Identification Program. This program is for 7th grade students who are identified as gifted, based on their high scores in key areas of the annual achievement testing. These students may then register with Duke University and take either of the college level entrance exams, the SAT or ACT. Summit Christian Academy students frequently score at the state or national honors level.

Young Achievers
Summit Christian Academy 5th and 8th grade students who have a strong grade point average and show leadership through good behavior and acts of community service are identified each year and nominated to participate in the Holifield Photography Young Achievers program.
